- NGS webinar on what you need to do and tools to assist for collecting GPS on bench marks and submitting the data to NGS. Thursday, March 5th 1 PM. Mountain Time. Very easy and huge benefit! - National Surveyors Week March 15-21
Focused effort to collect as many GPS on Bench Marks as possible.
Who ever publishes most OPUS Share solutions during this week in Colorado gets a NOAA cap or shirt. Last year’s winner was Todd Bridgeman, CDOT Region 1.

Good afternoon all,
NOAA’s National Geodetic Survey encourages anyone with survey-grade Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers or GPS-enabled phones and hand held devices to help collect GPS on Bench Marks. This webinar will provide guidance to collect GPS observations at any time, including during National Surveyors Week (March 15-21, 2015). Joining the 2015 effort will help raise awareness about professional surveying while improving the National Spatial Reference System (NSRS).
This webinar will cover a variety of topics to help you participate (see below). If you cannot attend the webinar live, we will record this webinar for future viewing. You can also visit the GPS on BM web site and download the 2015 flyer for more information.
