file for complete details. ADJUNCT FACULTY POSITION - REMOTE SENSING Adjunct Faculty - Remote Sensing - Pikes Peak Community College, Colorado
Springs, CO An adjunct faculty member (part-time instructor ) is needed to teach one section of remote sensing per semester. Adjunct faculty work under the direction of their respective Department Chairs and Division Deans/Assistants to the Dean and are responsible for meeting all scheduled classes/labs/clinics and providing instruction in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of the college and the Department Chair's approved course outline. Adjunct faculty are also responsible for using teaching methods and media designed to reach students of varying educational and experiential backgrounds to allow each student the opportunity to master the objectives of the course. Minimum Qualifications: Required teaching credentials or ability to receive such credentials as required by the discipline; a minimum of two years' experience teaching remote sensing and digital image processing. Salary: $32.00 per contact hour - $2,400 per semester. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in the discipline or closely related field with specialization in remote sensing and GIS from an accredited college or university. Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience in a variety of GIS skill levels, and experience with remote sensing applications in particular. The course will begin in the Spring 2009 semester (January 21 thru May
15); scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday mornings (8:30-10:45) at the Rampart
Range campus of Pikes Peak Community College (north end of Colorado Springs).
The text will be Lillesand's Remote Sensing and Image Interpretation,

month, plus an excellent benefit package. Ideal candidate will have experience
with the ESRI suite of products including ArcGIS Desktop\Workstation and
ArcServer\SDE along with a knowledge of physical addressing conventions
and standards and a familiarity of E911, emergency response and law enforcement
uses of GIS data. In addition, applicants should have advanced GIS analysis
skills; knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server; understanding
of GIS Principles. Applicant should be familiar with GPS technology and

Overview: NCDC Imaging is looking for a full-time Business Development Specialist (Inside Sales) to support revenue growth and client relations for our state-of-the-art Remote Sensing and GIS solutions company.
Description: The ideal candidate will have a natural resource GIS background and excel in all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation to proposal development to contract administration, have a fundamental understanding of natural resource management (planning, forestry, natural resources, environmental sustainability) and familiarity with remote sensing GIS applications, with an aspiration to lead an organization through superior performance.
Job Description
Tasks will include drafting sales letters, managing & monitoring sales/marketing campaigns, educating clients on NCDC solutions through multiple media formats, developing proposals based on an understanding of clients needs and the companys innovative remote sensing GIS solutions, administering contracts and communicating NCDCs mission to a wide range of industry sectors. Some client-prospect and trade show related travel will be required but is not expected to exceed 20% - 25% of your time.
