GPS on Bench Marks – Recovery (crowdsourcing) and GPS Data Collection

Greetings, fellow geospatial professional!

You may have heard mention of the GPS on Bench Mark effort. NGS is encouraging folks in all states to help recover the bench marks and collect Survey Grade GPS data on identified (and non) Bench Marks across the country to assist with the last and final hybrid Geoid Model as well as the transformation tools to the new reference frames being released around 2022. Along with State Coordinators in the NGS Rocky Mountain Region (CO, WY, MT) we are initiating this effort by offering three webinars that will explain the desired workflow and procedures.  We want your time to be used effectively and we have some important tools for you to use.  This will also help folks from searching or observing marks that have already been found or observed.

Please join us for the scheduled webinars hosted by our NOAA/NGS Regional Advisor, Pam Fromhertz.
