Rocky Mountain URISA – GIS Project Management Workshop 2014
Rocky Mountain Urban and Regional Information Systems Association has scheduled a GIS Project Management Workshop for the GIS community. This workshop will explain the fundamentals of the GIS Project Management oversight, managing diversion and distractions and how to maintain control over the length of your project.
Target Audience for this course is designed for both new project managers and experienced managers as well.

Target Audience: This course is designed for those who want to learn how to apply and use good project management practices for GIS projects to manage successful outcomes of basic to compels GIS projects..
Prerequisites: Students taking this course should have beginner to advanced knowledge of the project management lifecycle and management methods; exposure to Microsoft Project is beneficial for task assignments and oversight.
