GIS Programming and Automation Course (online), University of Northern CO

The University of Northern Colorado is offering the course GEOG 587:
GIS Programming & Automation online during the Spring 2019 (Jan 7 – May 3) semester taught by Luke Thelen.

The course is designed to develop advanced skills for geospatial programing. Topics include applying programing to automate processing tasks, interact with map elements, manipulate batches of GIS data, and create basic user interfaces. An undergraduate course in geospatial programming or previous experience with programming is recommended. If you don’t have programming experience but are interested in the course, please email me to discuss possibilities for enrollment.

The class is offered as part of our GISci Graduate Certificate but can also be taken as a non-degree seeking student. To register as a non-degree seeking student, one must simply fill out a form before registering. The cost of the course for a Colorado resident is approximately $1,900.

Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions.
