Spatial Decision Support for Open Knowledge Networking

US NSF Convergence Accelerator Expo – Spatial Decision Support for Open Knowledge Networking (OKN)

The US National Science Foundation funded several Pilot (Phase 1) projects as part of the development of the Open Knowledge Network for the US. As team members of the Open Knowledge Network for Spatial Decision Support project team, we are reaching out broadly to geospatial leaders in government, industry and not-for-profit sectors to announce an NSF Expo digital Open House. My team is hosting a (Zoom) Booth called “Open Knowledge Network for Collaborative Decision-making.”  If appropriate, please feel free to forward this email to any geospatial leaders who might have an interest in collaborating on a national OKN project involving spatial decision support.

This might be of interest. Here are some pointers to key information:

  • NSF Open Knowledge Network for Spatial Decision Support project
  • NSF Expo for Prospective Partners and Investors on July 1 and 2nd.
  • NSF Expo digital Open House. Team is hosting (Zoom) Booth called “Open Knowledge Network for Collaborative Decision-making”.
  • A five minute overview video of the project is available.  This is complemented by the 5 min explainer video and the 10 min details video
  • As per the overview video, the team has now prototyped key components of our Collaborative Decision Toolbox, and are now looking for investors and partners that want to engage with us for Phase 2.
