· Experience working on multifaceted research projects desirable.
· Knowledge of basic mathematics and statistics, equivalent to standard college algebra and
statistics. Must be able to make basic mathematical computations rapidly and accurately,
including necessary error checking.
· Ability to produce well designed maps, presentations, reports and other such materials.
· Must be able to:
- establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees,
- maintain organized files for maps, computer reports, field surveys, and other data.
Education and Experience:
· Three years of college, preferably in applied social sciences (such as geography or urban
planning), engineering, or similar field of study.
· Equivalent combination of applicable education and experience.

An advanced degree in the field of GIS and/or remote sensing is preferred.
