Position Summary:
Primary responsibilities will consist of defining the architecture
for Configuration Management practices within Intermap, as
well as, executing, managing, controlling, and administrating
day-to-day CM practices.
The scope will initially encompass the Engineering and Technology
Division, but will eventually address CM practices across
the enterprise. Some supervisory responsibilities are required,
but are limited to mentoring entry and mid-level developers
and designers, as needed, in order to promote effective and
efficient CM practices and proficiencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will include preparation of required
configuration management processes and documentation, as well
as, training materials of both the processes and CM system
usage.
CM presentation construction and delivery will also be required,
as needed.
Addition duties will include the ownership of the CM solution
and the enforcement of it, to include the administration,
installation, configuration, and maintenance of CM tools.
The scope of the CM responsibilities will span from the initial
conception to production implementation.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervisory responsibilities are limited to mentoring entry

ISO, and familiarity with ITIL, and Sarbanes-Oxley standards/compliance.
Rational Unified Process (RUP), Agile, Extreme Programming
(XP) preferred. Additional solid knowledge of typical artifacts,
as well as, sound Project Management and CM Plan development
skills.
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree (BSEE, BSCS, BSCE) from a four-year college
or university, or 7-12 years related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience. CMII
certification preferred.
