applications for an experienced GIS technician. Job duties will include
a variety of tasks including but not limited to: cartography, digitizing
and Geodatabase editing, data entry, data QAQC, linear referencing, geoprocessing,
and image interpretation.
Desired skills and qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of GIS concepts
and software, particularly ArcGIS. Candidates should also have proven
experience digitizing and editing in ArcMap using the Geodatabase. Preference
will be given to candidates with aerial photo interpretation skills and
knowledge of agricultural practices. Experience with ArcGIS model builder
will be a plus. This position requires demonstrated computer skills in
Windows environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability
to work as part of a team.
