APPLICATIONS ENGINEER
TARGET COMPILER TECHNOLOGIES

If you seek the opportunity to work with leading semiconductor companies and electronic systems houses in creating the next generation of programmable SoCs, then this position is for you. ‘IP Designer’ is used by our customers to design, optimize, model, verify and program application specific processors (ASIPs). ASIPs are the building blocks for new multicore architectures for such applications as diverse as HD video, multi-standard wireless communication, portable media devices, mobile and/or personal medical devices (e.g. hearing instruments), and supercomputing.

This is a ground-floor opportunity. The successful applicant will play a significant role in helping shape the future of Target Compiler Technologies in North America.

Responsibilities include:
- Working hand in hand with our sales team in pre-sales situations, building customer relationships and confidence
- Driving customer evaluations – including modeling and benchmarking of new processor architectures
- Resolving customer technical questions and issues (working hand in hand with our development team)
- Building the software (or, in some cases, both hardware and software) to use as examples and demonstrations that can be used by customers as part of their learning process.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the majority of the following technical areas:
- SoC Design – especially processor architecture – including an appreciation for the various tradeoffs that drive performance, power and cost.
- Assembly language programming
- C programming – especially including an appreciation for the highly optimized code (fast, small image size) demanded by embedded applications.
- RTL design and synthesis – driven from Verilog or VHDL
- ESL design methods (e.g. SystemC, modeling, behavioral synthesis)
- DSP algorithms for embedded applications (e.g. wireless, video, audio)

To be successful in this position, you must have:
- Excellent customer-presence. The ability to build relationships easily and quickly.
- Strong and broad technical credibility (in the above areas)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a leaning toward teaching. That is, the ability to teach and mentor customers to become more self-sufficient over time.
- A passion for advancing the state of the art in SoC design.

Minimum Requirements:
- BS EE or CS
- 5 years or more of experience working either as an applications engineer for an EDA company or as part of an SoC design team at a company that uses EDA tools.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Resides in, or is planning to relocate to, Colorado (Boulder/Longmont/Denver)

PROPOSAL COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILIIES:
The Proposal Coordinator serves as the key organizer of Sanborn proposals as well as a contributing writer to ensure Sanborn proposals are accurate, timely, compelling and high quality. This position analyzes RFP and other bid documents to identify and outline proposal requirements; organizes and tracks proposal writing assignments; creates and maintain schedules for the development and submission of proposals, writes or develops material and or edits, formats writing assignments developed by others on the proposal team, print and bind in accordance with specific RFP requirements and ships/delivers proposals on time. Additionally, this role collaborates with departments across Sanborn to obtain various required documents, such as EEO-1 reports; insurance information; etc.

As a writer on proposal efforts, the Proposal Coordinator outlines, writes, and edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs and related technical and administrative publications.

The position entails coordinating and producing winning proposals and presentations, statement of qualifications, as well as maintaining Sanborn’s standard or boilerplate documents or other proposal documents as required. Candidate must be able to work productively under the pressure of tight deadlines.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
-Analyze RFPs and other bid documents.
-Create proposal templates and standard sections.
-Develop proposal outlines/structures.
-Establish proposal schedule.
- Coordinate production and submission of responses
-Assign proposal writers. Edit and rewrite writing of proposal contributors.
-Assist with content for proposals ensuring proposals are well written and create a high quality company image assuring the use of current templates and style guides

-Organize and coordinate the overall production and delivery of proposals, with responsibility for the final product.
-Ensure Sanborn proposals are consistent with Sanborn branding standards.
-Follow AP Style Guide Standards and stay current on style guide changes.
-Reads journals, reports, and other material to become familiar with our industry, product technologies and production methods and stay informed of changes.
-Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from accredited four-year college or university.

EXPERIENCE:
Extensive writing and editing experience and experience formatting, writing, and revising proposals, preferably in a technical setting. Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Natural sales aptitude. Extensive experience is using Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Overview/Short Description
NCDC Imaging is looking for a full-time Image Processing Analyst to support various Remote Sensing and GIS projects around the world. The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of image processing for a wide variety of image sources and be comfortable with commercial image processing software.

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Image Processing Analyst that is familiar with the following imagery platforms: DMC, QuickBird, IKONOS, WorldView-1, SPOT, Landsat, and Aerial (LiDAR and hyperspectral would also be helpful). We use the following image processing software: ERDAS IMAGINE with AutoSync and PCI Geomatica with OrthoEngine. Familiarity with one or both of these software packages is required.

Tasks will include project planning, imagery ingest, communication with clients to establish and maintain product specifications, coordination with imagery vendors, orthorectification, mosaicking, post-processing, accuracy assessment and report generation for a wide variety of products.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
3-5 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated proficiency with commercial image processing software and concepts

Other Requirements: Must pass a Federal Background investigation. Full time position during normal business hours with occasional requirements to support system operations on evenings, weekends, holidays, or emergency situations. May require some travel on an irregular and infrequent basis.
