Purpose: To participate as a member of a team devoted to the research, acquisition, design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of one or more related Group1 Software spatial data products using various Geo-Spatial software, techniques, and tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ownership responsibilities for spatial data products to ensure they are sourced, created, verified, and release on time, every time.
2. Research requirements, catalog resources, and decipher descriptions to organize and develop a resource library and provide ongoing resource material to internal organizations, external contractors and to customers to answer, how, where, and why the products are created and maintained as they are.
3. Develop and maintain working relationships with contractors providing conversion of boundary descriptions and/or paper maps into digital boundary files.
4. Develop, implement, and execute processes to create, maintain, and release the highest quality regularly scheduled (monthly, quarterly, and annually) updates of spatial databases.
5. Learn all apsects of the data relating to products assigned to provide expertise on creation and maintenance requirements on a varied product line.
6. Customer satisfaction levels for all responsible products.

Education/Experience:
" B.S. degree in Geographic Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
" 1 - 3 years of technical experience in GIS data product development, quality control, maintenance, and support.

Required Skills:
" Thorough understanding of ESRI Arc product utilization, implementation, and maintenance
" Mid-level technical knowledge in GIS data development methodologies, design and implementation.
" Basic skills in research and analysis, project planning, and implementation.
" Basic understanding of spatial product development processes, including design, specification, documentation, and quality assurance.
" Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
" Basic skills in process optimization and automation

Desirable (Not Required) Skills:
" Knowledge of Internet research techniques
" Basic documentation skills
" Experience with State and/or local government environments, specifically county parcel and tax data
